Carmyn (Holmgren Way)

July 28 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

I grew up a performer, life was a stage. My mom will tell people that I could sing before I could talk, although once I started talking I never really shut up. Growing up I was involved in the arts, musical theater, band, orchestra, choir…I was obviously very cool. I spent a summer with Kids From Wisconsin, which really taught me a lot about how much hard work and dedication goes into performing. Later on in life after a bit of a break from music I circled back, not being able to let it go. I was able to do piano solo vocal  shows at a local restaurant. I will admit I had no idea what I was doing, but I wanted to get into the music scene so badly. I didn’t know how to do that, but I figured visibility was key. IT WORKED. That’s where I met my future band mates, and my future husband.
